Preparation: Adjust oven rack to middle position and preheat oven to 350˚ F. Grease 9x9 inch pan or 24 mini-muffin tin. Melt 1½ sticks butter (170g). Stir melted butter, ½ cup (120g) non-dairy milk and contents of brownie mix package in medium bowl until well blended. Spread evenly until smooth in prepared pan or muffin tin. Bake about 35 minutes for pan brownies and about 15 minutes for muffin-sized brownies or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature, about 2 hours. Store in airtight container.
Makes about 2 dozen brownies.
Note: Chewy Fudgy Brownie Mix nutritional information is based on 28 grams of dry mix, the amount used to make an average brownie. Prepared following the label directions (with unsalted butter), a brownie would weigh about 40 grams.
